The Combat Capabilities Development Command(CCDC)/Aviation & Missile Center (formally AMRDEC) has the University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) contract W31P4Q-18-D-0002 in place to provide US Government sponsors ready access to a broad set of technical capabilities. The UARC’s purpose is to advance DoD operations via application of leading edge research, development, and engineering in specific domains, and to maintain core competencies in those domains for the benefit of all DoD Components and Federal Agencies. The GTRI UARC primary sponsor, the US Army through CCDC Aviation and Missile Center, established this Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to serve as a flexible, easy-to-use contract that will quickly couple GTRI capabilities to USG sponsor needs.
GTRI has been meeting mission-critical military needs since the 1950s and has served the nation by developing effective, real-world solutions that support national defense and homeland security through research and technical expertise in full-spectrum sensing, information technology, test and evaluation (T&E), and systems engineering (SE). As an objective partner, GTRI seamlessly integrates with Government teams through highly specialized laboratories and interdisciplinary research centers that allow for the proper application of talent, experience, and creativity to every program. Highlighted below are GTRI’s areas of technical expertise, which are the foundation of the UARC Core Competencies.
