The U.S. Army is assigned by OSD/DDR&E as the Primary Sponsor of the GTRI UARC. The Army assigned this responsibility to the Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), recently aligned as the Combat Capabilities Development Command / Aviation & Missile Center (CCDC AvMC). CCDC AvMC established the CCDC GTRI UARC Program Office with specific responsibility for managing and coordinating efforts for Tasking Activities (USG Sponsors) and the execution of GTRI's efforts under the UARC contract vehicle. CCDC AvMC has performed as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for the GTRI UARC for over twenty years, providing program oversight and coordination across the services and federal agencies to solve significant national security challenges through this strategic partnership.
The CCDC GTRI UARC Contract W31P4Q-18-D-0002 is a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract vehicle that supports issuance of task orders for engineering efforts that support the defined Core Competencies. The contract has an overall ceiling of $2.35B, and a base period of performance of five years (January 2018 – January 2023), with an option for an additional five years.
